September 29 & October 17-18, 2009 - Everett's 2nd Birthday!
When Everett turned two, the East Texas Fair happened to still be going on so we decided to splurge and take the kids to the fair. It was the best birthday Everett could have asked for - he loved it (and so did Ella)!
We later had Everett's official birthday party on October 17 when more family could make it. Click here to see pictures from both events!
July 16, 2009 - Bath Time Fun
It's been fun bathing three kids in the evenings! Click here for some pictures of the kiddos in the tub.
July 10 - 15, 2009 - Giddy-up Horsey!
The kids were having a lot fun playing on the rocking horse together. Click here to see pictures!
July 2 - 9 , 2009 - A few pictures...
We went to Kyle and Lisa's house. We had fun, but we didn't take many pictures. We also took another trip to the zoo! Click here to see a few pictures.
June 26 - July 1, 2009 - Gran's House & the Zoo
Everett and Ella had a blast at Gran's house - especially at the pool. I posted a few pictures from our trip there. I also posted a few pictures from a special trip to the zoo where I was able to go without Keely and let Everett walk the entire zoo (no stroller) for the first time. This was a special treat because when Keely is with us, he is required to ride in a stroller or wagon! Click here to see these pictures.
June 19-25, 2009 - Sophie's Visit
My niece, Sophie, came to visit us this week! We enjoyed our time with her and stayed extra busy. I was able to squeeze in a few pictures here and there of her visit and some of the kids, too. Hope you enjoy them! Click here to see them.
June 18, 2009 - More fun
Here's a few more pictures of when Ginny and Rosser were over playing at our house while they were in town. There are also pictures of our father's day gift to Daddy. Click here to see them.
June 5 - 17, 2009 - Just playing around
Here are some pictures of the kids just playing around the house. There are some cute pictures of Ella and Ginny playing dress-up together while she was in town visiting! Click here to see all of them.
June 2 - 5, 2009 - Our new toy - finished!
After working for what seemed like weeks crammed into two days, we finished the assembly of the kids' new outdoor play set Tuesday night. Click here for pictures!
May 28 - June 2, 2009 - A new toy!
We are blessed enough to be able to get the kids a play set in the backyard with the help of family. Walmart had a set that fit our budget and we were sold. Yesterday we put some waterproofing sealant on the boards and then labeled them all with sidewalk chalk. Then we got to work assembling. It is definitely slow moving since we have three kids to manage while assembling the set, but the kids are super excited. We haven't finished yet, but click here for some work-in-progress pictures!
May 15 - 28, 2009 - Finally adjusting...
We're finally adjusting to what life is going to be like with three kids. We have moved from a "one-on-one" defense to a "zone" defense as I've heard it put many times now... Keely is just precious. She is a very content little girl so far and is happy most days wherever she's put down last (though she does love a good snuggle). She developed a bit of a cold this week (kids had it, too), but she seems to be working through it okay. Click here to see some pictures of our latest excitement at the Hollis house!
May 3 - 13 , 2009 - Around the house with Keely
Click here for some pictures of Keely and the kids around the house!
May 1-2, 2009 - Welcome Keely Drew
On Friday, May 1, 2009, we proudly welcomed our third child into the world. As always, we let her be a surprise, but this time I finally guessed it right! It took me having a girl and a boy before I could tell the difference between pregnancies. All went well for the most part. They induced me and she came easily at 4:16 pm (16:16), 7 lbs 14 oz and 21 inches long. Labor and pushing went very smoothly (of course I had an epidural). I had some complications afterwards with bleeding too much, but they were able to get it under control later Friday night and I have been fine since. Click here to see pictures of our newest sweet addition!
April 11-12, 2009 - Easter Weekend
We had fun searching for Easter eggs this year with Ella. She must have hunted eggs all day Saturday and Sunday. Poor Daddy got to hide most of the rounds... whew! Saturday morning we went to a church down the street from us that was having a big hunt. It was cute seeing the kids hunt with other kids. Sunday we did our hunt in the backyard with Ella after the bad weather cleared up some (Everett was napping). Click here to see some pictures from Saturday and Sunday when we "officially" hunted eggs.
March 30 , 2009 - Everett's First Haircut (and Ella's 3rd)
Everett's hair was starting to get a little ragamuffin-looking so I decided to take some action and gave him a haircut. It's still pretty long (I used the longest guard on the shears) so I might give him another cut soon to shorten it some, but it already looks so much better now that it has a shape to it. Click here to see some pictures of his first haircut!
February 14 , 2009 - More Random Pictures...
Here are some more random pictures from February. Click here to see them!
January 13 , 2009 - Random Pictures...
Here are some random pictures from January. I know this is a little out of order, but I'm just getting around to posting these so I thought I'd just post them at the top. Click here to see the pictures!
March 3 , 2009 - A Few Videos!
Click here to see Ella while she was learning her first memory verse (Ephesians 4:2 - Be patient; bearing with one another in love.) She had to memorize it for a Daddy/Daughter banquet at church. She has gotten better at saying it since we first started, but I haven't taken a new video of it since then!
Click here to see Everett dancing! He has gotten a little more coordinated since this (this was taken a couple of weeks ago), but it's just so cute!
Click here to see Everett laughing his head off. I had just changed him into his pajamas and threw his jeans on Daisy and he thought it was hilarious. Luckily we were able to catch the tail-end of it on video!
February 1, 2009 - Sleepy Everett
On a Sunday afternoon, I left the kids with Justin and went to do crafts with a few friends from church. Everett wouldn't take a nap for Justin and was very worn out. Click here to see a video of sleepy Everett!
