Amarillo Trip - August, 2006

Here is Daddy and Ella playing in the pool our five year anniversary weekend. They had so much fun!

After a long trip to Amarillo , we finally got to see some family! (Ella slept most of the trip and stayed awake most of the night following our very tired arrival.) Our very first visit the morning after our tiring night was to see Grandma Price. She was SOOOO excited to see Ella for the first time!

Friday afternoon, we played with Meredith and Cassie. Ella and Meredith both had fun.

That night, we left Ella and Meredith with Aunt Bobbie and went to see Texas in Palo Duro Canyon. It was a nice night and we enjoyed the play. The girls had fun with Aunt Bobbie.

Later that day, it was time to play with more of Meredith's cool toys!

On Sunday, the family got together over at Gary and Melissa's house to go swimming and eat. We really enjoyed the time together that evening and were sad that our trip was already ending.

Ella got to try beans for the first time that night - she LOVED them! We'll have to get the recipe from Aunt Joann.

After the family get-together, we went over to Joann and Bill's to see Bill's newest project. Isn't it the coolest?!? Bill took us each for a ride while Ella slept peacefully in the car undisturbed.

Time to go home! It was actually a pretty rough ride home. We'll be happy when Ella can face forward in her car seat...
