March, 2007 - The Train Ride

During the first weekend of Spring Break, Gran visited and we took the train ride from Rusk to Palestine. It was a pretty neat experience to ride on a train and Ella loved running up and down the train car (containing her during parts of the trip was sometimes challenging)!

Partway through the trip, the train stopped to let the train coming from Palestine to Rusk pass by.

So much fun!

When we arrived at Palestine, we had a break for a sandwich lunch and some time to explore the area. Ella couldn't cross those tracks any faster than what she did - she was ready to run! Needless to say, she got some energy out during our break and slept the entire way back to Rusk.
