April 11-12, 2009 - Easter Weekend

Saturday we went to an Easter Egg hunt at a church right down the road from us. The kids had a lot of fun. Ella hunted first in the ages 3 to 5 category. They had a big field FULL of eggs and all the little kids took off after them. Ella waited patiently as I waddled around with her to get the eggs on the other hand. She started getting into it at the end and straying further from me...

Everett was in the second round of hunts with the babies to 2 year olds. That field was packed with babies, tots, Mommies and Daddies... He had fun. He picked a few up and put them in his bag. Then he'd reach into his bag to take them out. Then he decided to throw a few eggs he found on the ground. He had fun playing with the "balls" as he called them.

Sunday morning it was pouring outside. Thankfully after church it cleared up and that afternoon we were able to hunt with Ella outside for Easter eggs. She had a lot of fun finding Easter eggs throughout the day. (not to mention eating the candy inside)

Jessi and I made play-doh Saturday night for the kids. They had a lot of fun playing the next day and still haven't left it alone for very long!
